Deep Ape is not officially connected to Best Brains, Rifftrax, Cinematic Titanic, or Shout Factory and is 100% independent. The views expressed here are dumb, probably wrong, and they in no way represent the views of the aforementioned. Amen.

Cinematic Titanic Merchandise Cometh

There’s a couple of new posts on the Cinematic Titanic website. The first is from Trace (whom you can see above, doing his impression of Walter Brennan portraying a fisherman) who shares a few words about some long-awaited CT merchandise. As anyone at the launch party can attest, there will be a basic CT t-shirt, with the simple logo on the front and the Time Tube on the back. There will also be autographed 8x10s available, and… that’s it. Well, gotta start somewhere. Anyway, definitely read the post, as it’s pure, hilarious Trace.

The second post comes from the desk of Josh Elvis Weinstein. His post is much less relevant to your Cinematic Titanic interests, but it’s still a good read. Josh seems to be working on a mysterious script (IMDB is no help, so don’t bother), and his writing woes seem to be right up my own alley. (RANDOM HUGH FACT: I write screenplays. Horrible, horrible screenplays that no one will ever see.) He’ll also be performing at the Acme Comedy Club, this Tuesday through Saturday.

Also, if you were having trouble registering or logging in to the CT forums over the past months, everything is working properly now. So, now you can finally get to spamming them with Joel vs. Mike posts, soldier.

  1. Aw, Hugh, Bill did a whole Q&A about screenplay writing over at the RiffBlog, you should’ve asked him something! …Or maybe you did, I can’t be arsed to check.

So Bill writes blogs about screenplay writing and the movie he wrote, “Starship Dave”, and a short while later JOSH blogs about screenplay writing and the movie he’s supposedly writing…COINCIDENCE??

    …Yeah, probably.

  2. I know! I completely forgot about it until it was over. Oh well. I’ll just comb through the results. :)

  3. I’m surprised they aren’t selling real DVD cases for The Oozing Skull.
