Deep Ape is not officially connected to Best Brains, Rifftrax, or Cinematic Titanic and is 100% independent. The views expressed here are obnoxious, probably wrong, and they in no way represent the views of the aforementioned. Amen.

MST3K.com Adds More Classic Clips

I haven’t really been covering the activities of the newly revamped MST3K.com much, lately. Go figure. Anyway, while they’ve taken a break from pushing their horrendous animated series, they continue to try to appease us long-time MSTies with clips from “legacy” series (i.e. the original MST3K) host segments. I can’t directly link to the clips or the video page, but just head to the site and click on the green “Video” button. You’ll find the following twelve clips:

Saw Sax (203 Jungle Goddess)
Ion Storm (611 Last of the Wild Horses)
Jet Jaguar (212 Godzilla vs. Megalon) (Is that still legal?)
Lighthouse (414 Tormented)
Mike As (608 Code Name Diamond Head)
Mads Fight (315 Teenage Caveman)
Nuveena (524 12 to the Moon)
Ode To Kim (403 City Limits)
Space Snacks (404 Teenagers From Outer Space)
Phones (701 Night of the Blood Beast)
Wedding (616 Racket Girls)
Tank Bazooka (204 Catalina Caper)

All in all, there’s a fair number of great segments there, including some of my own favorite moments (Mike as a Crash Test Dummy, the Mads’ fight, “Ode to Kim”, and the wedding skit). If you need a quick fix of some classic MST, then this is a good way to get it. Now, if only they could make it more comprehensive and allow people to embed them.
