Well, the week of December 17th through the 23rd was quite an interesting week. First of all, Bill Corbett opened himself up to questions from RiffBlog readers, in an extensive, really, really long Q&A session. (I’m in the process of picking the meat off of that thread’s proverbial bones, and I’ll post the transcription this week.) He also pondered Things, news of the upcoming Hobbit movie, pork faggots, Bonesaw’s state of readiness, and he laid down the gauntlet for his pals at Cinematic Titanic.
Speaking of which, Joel pretty much let his actions speak for themselves, officially launching the first episode of Cinematic Titanic, The Oozing Skull. He also debuted some new promotional photos that seem to be heavy on the silhouettes. Hmmm, I wonder what that means… (In case you’re a little slow on the uptake, it means that Cinematic Titanic will be 100% silhouette. Believe it.)
If you remember, Mary Jo Pehl was stepping up her blogging output, last week. Well, she’s still charging full-steam ahead, this time with three personal blogs and her debut on the Cinematic Titanic site. First, she (rightfully) raged against Hollywood and the internets for making a big deal out of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s looking like less than a goddess. Then, she threw a curveball – and presented her first podcast. (Or, the Pehlcast. Whaddaya think?) On the CT.com, she recalled her week finishing up The Oozing Skull and performing for LucasFilm.
Mike‘s posts were, as usual, a little all over the place. He sought out community help for his PS3 problems, commented on steak knife wielding elementary schoolers, responded to Kevin’s and Bill’s posts, and shared some fresh holiday nightmare fuel with us. Thanks, Mike.
