Deep Ape is not officially connected to Best Brains, Rifftrax, Cinematic Titanic, or Shout Factory and is 100% independent. The views expressed here are dumb, probably wrong, and they in no way represent the views of the aforementioned. Amen.

The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Felt A Sequel Was Necessary

If you’ve visited Ray Dennis Steckler’s website recently – and, let’s be honest, who among us has gone but one day without doing so – you’ve probably noticed the above image (minus my hilarious commentary, of course) decorating the front page. Now, it should go without saying what the above image indicates, for anyone who’s seen MST3K episode 812, The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies. Yes, Cash Flagg is back.

Why is Cash Flagg back? I don’t know. The page only makes mention of a “13 minute promo film of ‘Creatures 2′”. Whether this is an all-out sequel, a remake, or just a special DVD release of the original, I just don’t know. The promo is out on January 25th, so we will all know the answer then. Oh, how we will know the answer then. The emboldened text “ONE MORE TIME” almost seems to taunt me. It’s as if it’s saying, “Because I can. That’s why. And I don’t give a f@#&.

By comparison, I almost welcome the Hobgoblins sequel.
