MST3K Volume 12 Announced!

Well, this certainly came out of left field. Already, Rhino has announced that MST3K’s Volume 12 will be coming out, and they even have a list of episodes and extras. Even better, it’s coming out in less than two months, on October 2nd. Of course, that’s if they don’t have more of those good old Rhino delays. Here’s the run-down of the facts:

Episodes:
419 The Rebel Set (with the Johnny At The Fair short)
504 Secret Agent Super Dragon
612 The Starfighters
811 Parts: The Clonus Horror

Extras:
Original theatrical trailers
Video Jukebox Vol. 3
Interview with Rebel Set star Don Sullivan
MST Hour Jack Perkins “wraps” for The Rebel Set
Interview with Parts: The Clonus Horror director Robert Fiveson

What, no interview with Bob Dornan? Looks like a good set, certainly better than the last one. I’m excited to see Super Dragon and Starfighters, two excellent episodes, finally see a release. I’m betting that this is Starfighters‘ first, and only, time on DVD. I’ve been wanting to see Rebel Set for some time now, and many of you kids seem to like the Clonus, so it looks like a winner all-around. Stay tuned to Deep Ape for more details, if and when they emerge.
