Deep Ape is not officially connected to Best Brains, Rifftrax, or Cinematic Titanic and is 100% independent. The views expressed here are obnoxious, probably wrong, and they in no way represent the views of the aforementioned. Amen.

Mike Nelson Blog Activity

Mike Nelson has a couple of new posts up on his MySpace blog. (The second one is a more-complete rehash of the first one, so I’ll just focus on the second one. Natch.) Apparently, he and Rich Kyanka did some futzing with a couple of scenes from Scorcese’s The Departed, dubbing their voices overtop of the actors’, to hi-larious effect. They were on YouTube (as his first post pointed out) but now the Rifftrax site is housing them in higher quality. Seriously, they’re really funny and well-done. Go and give them a gander, please and thank you:

Part One
Part Two

Mike’s also apparently listening to Elvis Costello, which I think is pretty awesome.
