Guys, I realize that Mr. Carrozza was an absolute jackass in his anti-MST3K post, but was it really necessary to start voting down his YouTube videos, and whatever else the more extreme MSTies did? Tear into him for insulting the Brains and having somewhat irrational, poorly thought-out opinions, but remember that he’s well within his rights to dislike the show. I guess what I’m saying is, let’s not be too cruel, here. We should be holding him down and snicker-snagging on him — not burning down his treehouse and pissing on his cat. Take it easy.

When it comes to MST3K, fans have a sort of slash and burn mentality toward critics. If you don’t like it, fine. But don’t vomit out some empty screed then act surprised when a mob of MSTies bearing torches shows up at your front door. The time to criticize it is ten years gone (that was for LZ fans). Let go of your hatred. One exception: I am allowed to bitch about The Blair Witch Project forever, because it got $8 of my money and was the WORST piece of crap I ever saw in a movie theater, and that is saying something, as one who saw Conan the Destroyer at the movies. Yikes!
I still want to read his post.
This is why we can’t have nice things.
Of course, if MSTies condone harsh action against critics (like RA Roth is saying), then they’re sorta siding with Joe Don Baker when he threatened to punch out the Best Brains.
Think about it.
