Well, it’s time to bring in all those people searching for Harry/Draco slashfic.
On the blog of a lady (on the internet?!) named Heather, I found an interesting anecdote from an email exchange with Mr. Mike Nelson. She had asked him if there were any plans to riff on the Harry Potter movies, since she (rightfully) considers them to be utter shite, and offered her services in keeping the legal weasels off his back (she apparently has some connections). Well, it seems that there are currently plans to riff on the Potter series. Will that be the next track? One would’ve thought that they’d capitalize on the recent movie and release one closer to its release. Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the first Potter film as the answer to tomorrow’s 20 Questions. Cheat sheet!
Anyway, we can definitely look forward to a Potter Rifftrax in the near future. Whether or not it’s the next release, that remains to be seen. Wouldn’t surprise me, though. I hope it comes out soon. The fantasy genre is always ripe for riffing. In the meantime, Bourne Identity is out tonight.
